Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Holloway! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lott scores with a push kick. Holloway is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Holloway blocks a head kick by Lott.
Lott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lott showed some decent athleticism there. Lott is taking a breather. Holloway says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Holloway is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lott pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holloway tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lott has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Holloway tries to hold on but Lott pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holloway is squirming around, avoiding Lott's attempts to control the action. Holloway tries to hold on but Lott postures up. Holloway is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Lott landing strikes from the mount. Lott is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Holloway has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holloway sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Lott wants to stand up but Holloway has a hold of him and won't allow it. Lott prevents Holloway from standing back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Holloway looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Holloway actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lott is thwarting Holloway's attempts to control the position. Holloway is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lott pulls his head out easily. Lott is keen to just control but Holloway is a slippery customer. Holloway trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holloway looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Holloway manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Holloway looking for subs off his back but Lott has passed one foot through into half guard.
Lott is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Holloway looking for submissions off his back. Lott tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Holloway. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lott throwing shots but Holloway is blocking nicely. Holloway looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lott wants to stand up but Holloway is controlling the position.
