Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Boone (ranked 1145 p4p, 146 weight class) and Rodney Alcala (ranked 489 p4p, 65 weight class). Boone comes to the cage accompanied by Violeta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rodney Alcala!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcala swinging wildly here.
Boone avoids a kick to the body.
Alcala moves out of range of the strikes.
Boone throws a body punch but Alcala moves out of range.
Boone throws a big shot that misses.
Boone takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Alcala scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boone misses with a body shot.
Alcala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Boone throws a hook but Alcala blocks it.
Alcala is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A punch combination from Alcala misses.
Boone slips a jab and a cross from Alcala.
Jackson Boone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Alcala misses.
Boone lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Alcala is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alcala keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boone.
A little jabbing left from Alcala on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Alcala throws a low kick but it's checked well by Boone.
Alcala throws a big shot that misses.
Alcala has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Alcala there as he acknowledges the shot.

Boone lands a jab to Alcala's midsection.
Boone tries a head kick but it misses.
Boone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alcala moves out of range of the strikes.
Alcala's coach down at Zero Tolerance was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alcala's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Alcala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alcala takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Boone throws a poor cross that misses
and Alcala cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boone throws a jab when Alcala was well out of range.
Alcala fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boone manages to avoid it.
Nice jab there from Boone.
Alcala misses with a straight left.
Boone with a nice cross.
Boone misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Alcala counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boone throws a hook to the side of Alcala's head but Alcala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Alcala cracks Boone with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Alcala has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boone to stand back up!
Boone is rocked!
Alcala keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boone.
Oh Boone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alcala moves away from the strike by Boone.
Boone slips under a jab.
Alcala cracks the inside of Boone's front leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alcala fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Boone out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Rodney Alcala!
