Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Sue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Otong Dong!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Dong closes the distance and clinches.
Dong misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sue can't find room to land a body shot as Dong controls the action.
Sue tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dong's elbow.
Dong misses with a punch to the body.
Sue lands a shoulder strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sue misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dong doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sue scores with a hook to the body.
Sue misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dong is trying to push Sue away but Sue has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dong tries to throw a body punch but Sue avoids it by throwing Dong back against the cage.
Sue misses with a punch to the body.
Sue prevents a body shot from Dong.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dong has hold of one of Sue's legs. Sue is fighting the takedown attempt but Dong gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Dong is standing up over Sue. Sue looks to escape but Dong dives into side control.


Dong decides to stand back up.

and Sue counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dong is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Dong is struggling to control the position.
Dong tries to work over Sue's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dong blocks a body shot from Sue.
Sue blocks a body shot from Dong.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sue misses with a body punch.
Dong prevents a body shot from Sue.
Dong tries to work over Sue's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sue can't find room to land a body shot as Dong controls the action.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sue goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dong is struggling to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Otong Dong will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sue tries to clinch there but Dong circles away.
A countering left hand to the body from Dong misses.
Dong circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sue looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dong decides to stand back up.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sue tries to clinch up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sue forces Dong back against the cage and clinches.
Sue stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sue escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sue clinches.
Sue managing to block the knees to the body from Dong.
Dong tries for a takedown but Sue manages to get underhooks.

Dong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sue but Sue pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sue wants to clinch up but Dong keeps it at a distance.
Dong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sue with a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Sue. No joy for Dong on that attempt.
Tom Sue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otong Dong.
Dong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sue sprawls well. Sue wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dong gets slowly back to his feet.
A quick step to the side and Sue tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dong is defended easily by Sue.
A counter left hand to the body from Sue misses its target.
Dong keeps the fight on the outside.
A nice side step and Dong releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Sue has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dong tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sue avoids it.
Sue blocks a body shot from Dong.
Sue lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Sue struggles to land a body shot inside as Dong controls his hands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sue fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sue closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dong's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Sue dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Sue moves into range and clinches up with Dong.

and Sue counters with a left to the body.
Sue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dong appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sue just misses with a punch to the body.
Dong looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Sue moves in looking to clinch but Dong pushes him off.
Dong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sue with a body shot.

Sue displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dong.

Dong gets a double leg takedown into Sue's guard.

Sue pushes Dong off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dong shoots in looking for a takedown. Sue tries to sprawl out of it but Dong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sue manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tom Sue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otong Dong.

Dong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sue manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sue thinks about countering with a body kick.
Dong misses with a takedown attempt - Sue sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dong swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dong is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sue tries to clinch but Dong moves out of range.
Dong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sue with a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dong is defended easily by Sue.
Sue drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dong sprawls and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dong is trying to counter with his kicks.

Sue rushes Dong and presses him up against the cage.
Sue misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sue tries to break the clinch but Dong is controlling the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tom Sue showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sue has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
