Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clive Burrows!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burrows fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diaz sprawls well initially but Burrows persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Burrows missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Burrows looks to land a strike but Diaz avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Burrows with a nice head shot there.
Burrows has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Burrows has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Rio Fight Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Burrows cracks Diaz with a solid left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burrows lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Diaz! More strikes land and this one is all over! Burrows jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

A relieved looking Clive Burrows thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
