Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger doesn't manage to clinch there - Black circles away.
Black moves into the clinch.
Tiger is looking for a takedown.
Tiger tries to stall but Black uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tiger breaks the clinch.
Tiger jabs Black to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Black drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tiger is looking to get back to his feet here but Black is keeping cool and he's managed to take Tiger's back.
Black lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tiger wants to get back to his feet.
Black has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Tiger! Can he survive? No! He's out! Black gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Joe Black!
Joe Black decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
