Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Lamas (ranked 6589 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murat Gagiev (ranked 22642 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frankie Lamas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murat Gagiev! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamas wants to clinch and Gagiev counters with a left and a right that stings Lamas. A head kick misses from Lamas. Lamas tries to clinch up but Gagiev circles away and keeps his distance. Gagiev lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Gagiev throws a body shot but no joy. Gagiev keeps the fight on the outside. Lamas slips a straight right by Gagiev. Gagiev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lamas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gagiev blocks the body kick.
Lamas pushes Gagiev up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gagiev scores with a nice hook to the head. Lamas working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Gagiev is trying to break the clinch but Lamas has him pressed against the cage. Lamas swings wildly with an uppercut but Gagiev uses good head movement to avoid it. Lamas stalling in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gagiev lands a body shot in the clinch.
Lamas tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lamas is trying to maintain a safe position but Gagiev gets an underhook and turns Lamas into the cage. Lamas misses with the head strike.

Gagiev is pushing Lamas up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Lamas misses with some punches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Gagiev - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Gagiev appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Gagiev gets tackled into the cage by Lamas. Lamas maintains the clinch. Gagiev takes a shot to the head. Lamas scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Murat Gagiev has been cut. Lamas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frankie Lamas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lamas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lamas tries to clinch but Gagiev moves out of range. Gagiev takes a jab right on the kisser.
