Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reginald Kite (ranked 3291 p4p, 336 weight class) and Lucas Pablo (ranked 3626 p4p, 350 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reginald Kite! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Pablo! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pablo fails to land the takedown. Pablo tries for a takedown but Kite sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kite lands with a straight right. Pablo didn't see that one coming. Kite defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pablo. Reginald Kite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Pablo. Kite tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pablo unleashes a big counter combination but Kite bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pablo. Pablo shoots in but Kite avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pablo closes the distance and clinches up with Kite, looking for a takedown. Pablo pushes Kite against the cage but Kite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pablo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Pablo fails with the takedown enabling Kite to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kite throws a leg kick but Pablo sees it coming and moves out of range. Kite scoring well with a low kick there.
Pablo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pablo has his takedown stuffed and Kite counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kite tries to keep at a distance but Pablo has taken the fight into the clinch. Kite misses with a knee strike.
Kite softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kite's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lucas Pablo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pablo goes for a double leg but Kite avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kite continues to drive forward. Pablo misses with a takedown and Kite counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pablo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kite defends well and Pablo ends up having to push Kite into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A quick step to the side and Kite tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Pablo misses with a takedown and Kite counters with a good low kick that Pablo was not able to check. Pablo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pablo misses with an uppercut. Kite saw that one coming. Kite fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pablo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kite lands a right hook to the body.
Kite uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pablo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kite swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pablo tried to score with a low kick but Kite checks it. Kite lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Reginald Kite is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kite punishes Pablo's body with a nice straight punch. Kite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pablo manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pablo shoots in for a takedown but Kite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Pablo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kite lands with a nice body punch. Pablo darts in looking for a takedown but Kite gets double underhooks and turns Pablo into the cage. Kite misses with a series of wild punches.

It looked like Kite was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pablo. Pablo shoots in looking for a takedown. Kite tries to sprawl out of it but Pablo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kite manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pablo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pablo is looking to clinch but Kite is avoiding it.
Pablo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Pablo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kite sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pablo somewhat. Pablo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kite trying to control here.
Pablo is looking to take a break and control but Kite is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pablo prevents Kite from improving his position. Pablo is keen to just control but Kite is a slippery customer.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Kite is looking to improve his position.

Pablo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kite does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kite has his hands clasped together around Pablo's back. He's all about the action. Kite looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kite is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kite is trying to maintain the position but Pablo is very close to passing his half guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pablo trying to control the action but Kite is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kite definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pablo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pablo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kite as he jumps to the side. Kite connects with a leg kick. Pablo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Pablo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kite swivels and escapes. Pablo just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKite. Kite throws a hook but Pablo avoids it easily. Kite misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pablo.
Pablo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kite throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Pablo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kite tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Pablo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kite to keep the fight standing. Pablo gets control of Kite's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pablo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pablo controls Kite momentarily but Kite frees himself. Kite missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kite landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kite lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pablo tries to strike from the bottom.
Pablo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kite's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Kite wants to get back to his feet but Pablo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kite might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pablo trying to control but Kite is working from the bottom. Pablo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kite is keeping the position for now. Pablo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kite controls Pablo momentarily but Pablo frees himself. Pablo stopping the sweep attempt from Kite. Kite is working hard here to advance position. Kite looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pablo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Pablo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pablo is thwarting Kite's attempts to control the position. Kite tries to roll over but Pablo keeps him under control. Kite wants to control but Pablo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Pablo trying to control the pace. Kite on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kite tries to get out of the position. Kite is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pablo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pablo on the ground. Pablo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kite is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lucas Pablo! After the fight, Lucas Pablo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
