Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Slater (ranked 2952 p4p, 167 weight class) and Tommy Walcott (ranked 1300 p4p, 88 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Slater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Walcott! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater avoids the body shot from Walcott.
Slater fires out a quick counter leg kick but Walcott just manages to avoid it. A jab from Slater finds it's way through Walcott's defenses. Slater tries for a takedown but Walcott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Walcott follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Tommy Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slater keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Walcott throws a leg kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Slater keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slater fails with the takedown and Walcott counters with an inside leg kick. Slater misses with an uppercut. Walcott saw that one coming. Slater tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walcott defends well and Slater ends up having to push Walcott into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice uppercut there from Walcott. Walcott scores with a spinning back kick! Slater fails with a takedown attempt. Walcott throws a head kick that half lands.
A nice inside leg kick there by Walcott. That's going to slow Slater down. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walcott misses with an uppercut. Slater saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walcott throws a nice outside leg kick. Slater misses with a left hand and Walcott counters with a low kick, right behind Slater 's knee. Walcott throws a leg kick that is checked and Slater counters with a straight right hand. Walcott connects with an inside leg kick. Slater loads up on a big right hand but Walcott slips the punch. Slater throws a big shot that misses. Slater blocks a head kick by Walcott.
We've been informed that Walcott has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Slater shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Walcott is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Slater with a body shot. Slater cracks Walcott with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Walcott throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Slater looks to throw the jab but Walcott is out of range. Walcott lands a high kick!
Slater shoots in but no luck this time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walcott moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Walcott takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Walcott throws out a loose jab but Slater uses good head movement to avoid it. Slater is looking for a counter combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walcott misses with a wild body shot. Tommy Walcott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walcott lands a nice looking body shot.
Walcott on the wrong end of a nice hook. Slater keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Walcott throws a low kick but Slater avoids it. Walcott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Walcott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slater.
Slater slips a jab from Walcott. Walcott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Slater. That did some damage! Walcott looks to land a left hand but Slater moved out of range nicely. Slater swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Slater takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Slater takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Walcott turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Walcott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Slater has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walcott. Slater is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Slater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walcott swats him away and circles back towards the center. Slater throws a lazy right hand but Walcott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walcott throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Walcott throws a right hand that misses
and Slater connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Walcott swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Walcott lands with a thumping leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Walcott.
Slater blocks a head kick by Walcott.
Slater slips under a jab from Walcott. Slater ducks under a wild hook from Walcott. Slater is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walcott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Walcott throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Slater counters with a nice uppercut. Slater avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Slater jabbing away but nothing is landing. Slater steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Walcott. A big right from Slater misses. Slater moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Slater misses with an uppercut
and Walcott makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Slater gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Walcott connects with an inside leg kick. Slater is looking to clinch but Walcott is avoiding it.
Slater has his takedown stuffed and Walcott counters with a lovely straight right hand! Slater shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Walcott pushes Slater off and gets back to his feet. Slater misses with a few strikes there.
Slater tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slater misses with a two punch combination.
Slater shoots in but Walcott avoids the takedown attempt easily. Walcott gets tackled into the cage by Slater. Slater maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Walcott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Slater throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Walcott counter with a right hand. Slater is looking to clinch. A countering left hand to the body from Walcott misses. A jab from Walcott does it's job there. Walcott connects with a body shot that sends Slater's belly button to the back. Walcott lands a head kick!
It looks like Tim Slater has been cut. Walcott throws a jab when Slater was well out of range. Slater feinted with a counter takedown. Slater moves into range and clinches up with Walcott. Walcott lands an uppercut. Slater tries to pull guard but Walcott won't allow it.
Slater tries to pull guard but Walcott forces him back to his feet, against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walcott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Slater takes a shot to the head. I was talking to Slater's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walcott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slater pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Walcott throws a fast counter high kick but Slater manages to duck under it in time. Slater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walcott tries to avoid it but Slater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walcott to the ground. Walcott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slow jab from Walcott misses its intended target. Walcott lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Slater is rocked! Walcott flashes Slater a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Slater's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Slater crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Walcott punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
