Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 914 p4p, 114 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 898 p4p, 111 weight class). Ribbler kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad Religion - Infected. Durden has chosen Where Is My Mind as his entrance music. Ibbe Ribbler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tyler Durden's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden throws a body punch but Ribbler moves out of range.
Ribbler appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Durden connects with a single shot there.
Ribbler with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ribbler takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Durden misses with a double jab.
Durden getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Durden cracks Ribbler with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Durden 's head but he takes it in his stride.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Durden clobbers Ribbler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Durden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ribbler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Durden.
Durden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ribbler manages to avoid it.

Durden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Durden slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Durden is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ribbler had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Durden has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
