Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Soboyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Johnny Soboyt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnny Soboyt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soboyt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferreira.
Soboyt is looking to clinch but Ferreira is avoiding it.
Ferreira stuffs the takedown.
Soboyt fails to land the takedown.
Soboyt looks for a takedown but Ferreira sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Soboyt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferreira throws a hook but Soboyt avoids it easily.
Ferreira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Soboyt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ferreira is looking to land body kicks.
Johnny Soboyt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferreira lands a nice looking body kick.
Soboyt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ferreira is fending him off so far but Soboyt persists. Nope, Ferreira circles away and we're back to standing.
Soboyt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Soboyt throws a head kick but Ferreira moves out of range.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ferreira, right into the meat.
Soboyt is breathing heavily.
Ferreira feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Soboyt's calf.
Soboyt throws a right hand that Ferreira ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferreira also avoids with ease.
Soboyt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Soboyt is rocked!
Ferreira throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh Soboyt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ferreira lands with a big right hook that stumbles Soboyt - he's out on his feet here! Ferreira follows up with another monster hook that separates Soboyt from consciousness! Soboyt falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ferreira stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Ferreira!
