Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daisuka Huga (ranked 2916 p4p, 338 weight class) and Sieg Fried (ranked 3523 p4p, 379 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huga swings for the body but Fried moves out of range.
Huga displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fried throws out the jab.
Fried closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Huga quickly recovers to half guard.

Let's hope that Fried has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Huga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fried on the ground.
Fried tries to pass the half guard into mount. Huga knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Huga wants to control but Fried is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fried lands a nice short elbow.

Fried takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
