Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ken Sterling (ranked 5533 p4p, 263 weight class) and Taz Duncan (ranked 6682 p4p, 281 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Sterling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz Duncan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Duncan catches Sterling right on the button with a cross. Sterling connects with a right hand. Duncan shakes it off. Sterling drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sterling working the ground and pound. Sterling creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Duncan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Duncan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Duncan can't do much from the bottom here. Duncan is not content to let Sterling control the position. Sterling tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan is trying to get back to his feet. Sterling swings around for an armbar but Duncan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sterling's guard. Duncan is pushing down on Sterling's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sterling is fighting to maintain full guard but Duncan has managed to sneak the leg through. Duncan works his way into side control. Sterling is looking for a sweep. Duncan working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sterling is trying to escape the position but Duncan is controlling the position. Sterling struggling a bit here. Duncan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sterling has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Duncan but great work by Sterling. Duncan can't do much from the bottom here. Sterling prevents Duncan from escaping the position. Sterling misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Duncan manages to get back to half guard. Duncan wants to control but Sterling is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Duncan looking for submissions off his back. Sterling wants to stand up but Duncan is controlling the position.
Duncan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Duncan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sterling gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sterling trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sterling content to stall in guard here. Duncan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sterling rolls with it to try and escape but Duncan cranks on the arm and Sterling is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
