The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telushikin misses with a two punch combination.
Benson wants to slow Telushikin down by chopping away at his legs.
The crowd cheers as Benson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Telushikin doesn't seem phased though.
Telushikin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Benson is trying to defend but Telushikin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Benson is looking to control Telushikin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Benson avoid being mounted?
Benson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Benson tries to get out of the position.
Telushikin is working for a kimura but Benson is defending it quite comfortably.
Benson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
