The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone scores with a jab. Forever acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Malone. No joy for Forever on that attempt.
Malone looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Malone.
Malone lands a jab to the nose.
Malone scores with a nice head shot.
Forever doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Malone counters with a straight right hand.
Malone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Forever.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Malone.

Forever drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Malone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Forever defends it easily.
Malone wants to sweep here but Forever controlling him for the moment.

Forever stands up and waves to Malone to follow him.
Malone connects with a leg kick. Forever looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Malone scores with a decent looking hook.
Forever takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Malone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Malone pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Forever appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Malone throws a push kick but Forever slaps the foot to one side.
Malone throws a head kick that misses.
Forever shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Malone pinned against the cage. Malone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mad Dog Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wacanda Forever.

Malone connects with an inside leg kick.
No luck for Forever with that takedown attempt.
As Forever backs away, Malone returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Forever walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Malone lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Malone lands with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Forever fails with the takedown
and Malone counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Forever drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

letting Malone counter with a right hand.
Malone throws a low kick but Forever avoids it.
Forever shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Malone to counter with a crisp jab.

Forever is rocked!

Malone throws a quick inside leg kick.
Malone cracks Forever with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Forever tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Malone pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Forever is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mad Dog Malone!
Mad Dog Malone decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
