The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Franciscus Shamrogue has been cut.
Stapelstaden throws a right and a left that Shamrogue avoids nicely.

Stapelstaden looks to land a combination but Shamrogue avoids it well.
Stapelstaden throws a series of punches but Shamrogue moves out of range.
Shamrogue looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Shamrogue shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stapelstaden but Stapelstaden pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shamrogue takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Shamrogue drops his hands momentarily. Stapelstaden doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Shamrogue staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Shamrogue doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
