Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Foot (ranked 1146 p4p, 147 weight class) and Carlos Ruas (ranked 1513 p4p, 189 weight class). Chief Foot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Foot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Ruas! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Foot's head. Foot tries to clinch there but Ruas circles away.
Ruas takes a swing at Foot's ribcage but misses. Foot clinches with his opponent.
Ruas blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Foot lands on the inside with an uppercut. Ruas managing to block the knees to the body from Foot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Foot creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Foot is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ruas misses with an elbow strike.
Foot swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ruas pulls guard successfully.
Ruas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Foot's guard.
Foot on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foot tries to get out of the position. Ruas won't allow Foot to get back to his feet. Ruas stands and throws Foot's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Foot prevents Ruas from improving position. Ruas has hold of Foot's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Foot seems comfortable defending it but Ruas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Foot is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Foot is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ruas couldn't care less - he's delighted!
