Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rhett Dunn (ranked 23786 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lowe (ranked 5520 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhett Dunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Lowe! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lowe throws a nice looking combination but Dunn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lowe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lowe ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lowe stuns Dunn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lowe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dunn counters with a right hand to the body. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dunn gets a trip takedown into half guard. Lowe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dunn decides to return to a standing position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lowe looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dunn seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Lowe trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dunn's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lowe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dunn pulls Lowe in close to his closed guard and prevents Lowe from doing any damage or advancing position. Dunn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dunn striking off his back but it's not causing Lowe any problems. Lowe trying to control but Dunn is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dunn controls Lowe momentarily but Lowe frees himself. Dunn is pulling down on Lowe's head. It's preventing any offense from Lowe, at least for the moment. Dunn throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dunn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lowe manages to get himself to full guard.
Dunn stands up from Lowe's guard - Dunn perhaps looking for a knockout. Dunn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lowe's waist but Lowe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dunn off to one side. Dunn tries to keep at a distance but Lowe has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Lowe works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lowe postures up.
Lowe stopping the sweep attempt from Dunn. Lowe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dunn is keeping the position for now. Dunn is pulling down on Lowe's head. It's preventing any offense from Lowe, at least for the moment. Dunn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunn has Lowe pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lowe thuds his right hand into Dunn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A big right followed by a crushing left from Lowe knocks Dunn out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Lowe!
