Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowes stuffs the takedown.
Rantalainen ducks straight into an uppercut from Bowes and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rantalainen maanges to regain guard straight away.
It looks like Simo Rantalainen has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rantalainen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bowes thows a big elbow that misses.
Bowes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rantalainen shoots in and drives through. Bowes sprawls well.
Bowes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
