Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snitch (ranked 1572 p4p, 207 weight class) and Aurora Borealis (ranked 19934 p4p, 548 weight class). Snitch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Wanna Rock. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aurora Borealis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borealis ducks under a wild hook from Snitch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Snitch.
Snitch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Borealis misses the shot to the body.
Snitch lands a nice looking body shot.

Borealis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Snitch has one foot on Borealis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Snitch pushes Borealis up against the cage in a clinch.

Snitch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Borealis is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Snitch is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Westside Martial Arts that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Borealis is trying to keep Snitch in close.
Borealis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Snitch's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snitch is on top in guard.

Borealis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Snitch stays in close to Borealis's body and controls the position.

Snitch not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Borealis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Snitch is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Borealis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Snitch defends well.
Snitch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Snitch fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Snitch fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Borealis on the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Borealis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Snitch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Borealis.
Borealis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Snitch counters with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Borealis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
An attempted straight right counter from Snitch misses the target.

Snitch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Borealis quickly recovers to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Borealis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snitch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borealis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snitch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snitch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Snitch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Borealis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snitch has managed to get both his arms back between Borealis's legs - danger averted.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Borealis darts in looking for a takedown but Snitch gets double underhooks and turns Borealis into the cage.
Snitch looks to score with a jab to the body but Borealis is just out of range.
Snitch throws a leg kick but Borealis moved away.
Snitch stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Snitch throws a chopping leg kick but Borealis manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Snitch looks to land a left hand but Borealis moved out of range nicely.
Borealis shoots in for a takedown but Snitch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Borealis feints and as Snitch raises his hands in defense, Borealis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
