Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Diaz (ranked 5734 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco KT (ranked 4791 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ellis Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marco KT! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz walks forward, straight into a front kick from KT. KT drives through with a takedown into Diaz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Diaz is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Diaz throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from KT - that landed with a thud.
KT breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Excellent takedown into side control there by KT. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz is looking for a sweep. KT throwing strikes but missing, from side control. KT wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy. Diaz manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. KT is pressing down on Diaz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Diaz is holding on for now. KT wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. KT looks to land a strike but Diaz avoids it nicely and regains full guard. KT trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. KT is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Diaz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. KT sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Diaz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
KT wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy. KT throwing shots but missing, from side control. KT working away. Diaz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. KT content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from KT. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. KT decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Diaz, up you get! KT throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as KT sprawls well. KT wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. KT closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diaz's guard. Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. KT wants to pass the guard but Diaz is keeping the position. KT wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz is working an open guard so KT takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. KT shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco KT dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
KT moves into the clinch. Diaz pulls KT into guard.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. KT doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. KT manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. KT is looking to advance position but Diaz has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now KT is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. KT gets to his feet - Diaz follows without any prompting. KT shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard. KT passes Diaz's left leg - he's now in half guard. KT misses with a head shot. Diaz uses the momentum to regain guard. Diaz controls KT momentarily but KT frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz keeping moving, preventing KT from controlling successfully. KT sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diaz's guard. KT trying to control the action but Diaz is working from the bottom. Diaz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. KT is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KT is looking to stall here but Diaz recovers full guard. Diaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Diaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Diaz is keen to just control but KT is a slippery customer. KT is trying to control but can't.
Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! KT works his way to full guard. Good work. KT working a defensive guard but Diaz manages to pass into side control anyway.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ellis Diaz will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
KT tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
KT shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Diaz manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. KT keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. KT manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz content to stall in guard here. Diaz stands and steps away. KT gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Diaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. KT is looking to clinch. KT moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. KT manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diaz on his heels. He'll look to pass Diaz's guard now, I'm sure. Diaz looking for a guillotine here but KT defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz controlling KT's posture. KT stands and steps away. Diaz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. KT closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diaz's guard. Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Diaz controlling the position.

KT looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. KT is looking to take a break and control but Diaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Marco KT has got the better of the ground game so far. Diaz misses with some strikes from the bottom.
KT is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Diaz. Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Diaz pulls KT in close to his closed guard and prevents KT from doing any damage or advancing position. KT throws a strike but Diaz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. KT looking to control but Diaz passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ellis Diaz. I think Diaz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
