The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duggan ducks under a wild hook from Iam.
Duggan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Iam.
Duggan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Iam goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Iam shoots in but Duggan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Iam has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Duggan will probably get the nod.

Iam is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Iam swats away the attempt to clinch by Duggan.
Iam throws out a loose jab but Duggan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Iam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duggan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Iam takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Iam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Iam goes for a double leg but Duggan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Duggan continues to drive forward.

A little feinted left hand from Duggan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Iam swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Duggan counters with a nice body shot.
Iam throws a sloppy head kick and Duggan moves out of range easily.
Iam misses with a left hand
and Duggan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Iam rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Duggan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Duggan counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
