Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent. Stable Genius is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genius looks to throw a body kick

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Genius won't be happy with that.
Genius is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Genius prevents Gracie from improving position.
Genius regains half guard there - taking advantage of Gracie's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Genius pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Genius defends well.

Genius must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie controls Genius momentarily but Genius frees himself.
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gracie is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Genius knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Genius for a finish.
