PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yougot Tappedout (ranked 2891 p4p, 335 weight class) and Rodney Rodgers (ranked 3677 p4p, 397 weight class). Rodney Rodgers told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers scores with a body shot.
Tappedout fails with the takedown
and Rodgers counters with a nice body shot.
Tappedout shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodgers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tappedout's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A combination from Rodgers does no damage.
Tappedout attempts a counter takedown but Rodgers avoids it well and moves away.

Rodgers has closed the distance and engaged Tappedout in a clinch.
Tappedout wants a takedown.

Tappedout changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rodgers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Rodgers sizes up Tappedout with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Tappedout is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodgers defends well.

Tappedout has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rodgers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rodgers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tappedout to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rodgers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tappedout pulls down on the head and he's put Rodgers to sleep! This one is all over!
