Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Basil Borcea (ranked 6140 p4p, 510 weight class) and Dwayne Haskins (ranked 6345 p4p, 513 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borcea throws a right and a left that both miss.
Haskins dodges the punch combination from Borcea.
Borcea swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haskins. Borcea does a little dance to reset his feet.
Borcea seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Borcea keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dwayne Haskins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Borcea closes the distance and clinches.

Haskins has had enough of the clinch but Borcea keeps him there for the moment.

A nice leg kick lands there from Haskins.
Haskins bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Haskins scores with a sloppy right hand. Borcea should have avoided that one.

It looks like Basil Borcea has been cut.

Borcea scores with the left hand. Haskins knows he should have avoided that one.
Haskins finds Borcea's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Borcea flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Haskins lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Borcea will be OK.
