Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giuseppe Mcintosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Placeholdername McGee! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcintosh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McGee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcintosh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mcintosh holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Mcintosh really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... McGee tries to move to mount but Mcintosh blocks the move with his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcintosh manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee is stalling here. Mcintosh is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McGee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mcintosh has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Mcintosh gets to mount! McGee was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mcintosh landing strikes, looking to finish! McGee tries to improve his position but Mcintosh has taken his back! Mcintosh has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will McGee tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Mcintosh pushes McGee away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
