Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Khru Jako (ranked 3561 p4p, 385 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 7222 p4p, 555 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jako might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Catch a Fire. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow blocks a head kick by Jako.
Snow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jako is out of range and Snow settles back down.
Snow has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Snow throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jako avoids a kick to the body.

Jako clinches up against the ropes.
Jako stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jako.
Jako can't find room to land a body shot as Snow controls the action.
Snow swings wildly with an uppercut but Jako uses good head movement to avoid it.
Snow throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Snow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Jako just misses with a elbow thrown towards Snow's brow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Jako's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
