Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Flash! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flash throws a leg kick that misses. Flash throws a chopping leg kick but West manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Flash takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Flash misses with a two punch combination.
West is looking to counter with head kicks. Flash gets tackled into the cage by West. West maintains the clinch. West really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. West escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Flash feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. West pushes Flash off and gets back to his feet.

West tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Flash just stands there and leans against the cage. Flash manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwardo West. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flash shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. West eats them both and turns towards Flash to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Johnny Flash will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Flash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but West moves out of range and avoids them all easily. West throwing a counter right hand but Flash manages to avoid it. West avoids a punch combination nicely.

West has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Flash is on him like a limpet, forcing West back against the cage. West tries to pull guard but Flash forces him back to his feet, against the cage. West jumps guard and drags Flash to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! West looking for a sweep. Not yet West, not yet. Flash postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! West is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Flash, into his guard.
West decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Flash, up you get! Johnny Flash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A head kick by Flash misses and West counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. West is working for a submission of some sort.

Flash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back! Flash is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but West won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Flash off his unconscious opponent!
