Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Liguy (ranked 2910 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Summers (ranked 2861 p4p, 0 weight class). Liguy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Nathan Summers told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liguy with a poor takedown
and Summers counters with a crisp one two that drops Liguy! Summers thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Liguy to his feet! Liguy is in big trouble!
Liguy is rocked!
Liguy is breathing heavily.
Summers sends Liguy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Summers is motioning to the referee to let Liguy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Liguy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Summers has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Liguy drops his hands for a split second and Summers immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Liguy face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Summers follows up with a right hand that knocks Liguy into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nathan Summers!
A relieved looking Nathan Summers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
