Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Aaron Hoyle (ranked 4401 p4p, 229 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 5646 p4p, 267 weight class). Mr Ward is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 14 losses; Mr Ward!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

Ward has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hoyle has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Ward swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hoyle is now in Ward's guard. A big mistake from Ward there, giving up the dominant position!

Ward is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hoyle frees his head nicely. Oh but Ward has switched to an armbar! Hoyle is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 10:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Mr Ward!
Mr Ward spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
