Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Alex Swain (ranked 5263 p4p, 264 weight class) and Samuel Little (ranked 23678 p4p, 317 weight class). Alex Swain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Swain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samuel Little! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swain gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Little. Swain throws a leg kick and Little counters with a nice body shot. Little with a body punch. A glancing blow. Swain throws a left and a right that both miss
and Little counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Little connects with a body shot that sends Swain's belly button to the back. Swain clinches. Little trying to stall but Swain improves his position.
Little has had enough of the clinch but Swain keeps him there for the moment. Little tries to circle away but Swain has him pinned against the ropes. Little wants to get back to striking at distance but Swain won't allow it.
Little is trying to maintain a safe position but Swain gets an underhook and turns Little into the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swain prevents Little from breaking the clinch. Swain manages to break the clinch.
Swain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Little lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Little connects with a high kick. Samuel Little is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Little fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Swain walks forward, straight into a front kick from Little. Little lands a nice shot to the body.
Little ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swain moves away. Swain looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Swain has managed to clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Little misses with a body punch.
Little is trying to break the clinch but Swain is controlling him. Swain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Swain throws a series of punches but Little avoids them all with ease. A punch lands to the side of Swain 's head but he takes it in his stride. Swain walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Little checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Little swats away the attempt to clinch by Swain. Little lands a jab to Swain's midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Swain looks to score with a jab to the body but Little is just out of range. Little has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Swain is landing a low percentage of strikes. Swain ducks under a wild hook from Little. Swain wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Little slips under a jab. Little throws a head kick that misses. Little throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Swain on the side of the head. Little is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. A punch combination from Little misses. Swain on the wrong end of a nice hook. The fight moves into the clinch position. Little wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Swain has him pressed against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Little dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Little tests Swain's chin there with a solid looking shot. Alex Swain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Swain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Little moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Little throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Swain misses with a body shot
and Little cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Swain is rocked! Little has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Little catches Swain napping and cracks him with a perfect head kick! Swain goes down! He's bigtime hurt! He's not going to make it back to his feet - the referee has called it off! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Samuel Little!
