Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Ravese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nunes comes into the arena with Aerosmith - Rockin' The Joint blaring out of the sound system. Gabriel Nunes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Ravese's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes throws a shot to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nunes stands up from Ravese's guard - Nunes perhaps looking for a knockout. Ravese tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nunes swivels and escapes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nick Ravese will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ravese misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ravese shoots in looking for a takedown. Nunes tries to sprawl out of it but Ravese keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nunes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ravese swinging wilding here.
Nick Ravese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nunes cracks Ravese with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nunes lands a head kick!
A punch lands to the side of Ravese 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nunes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nunes closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Ravese shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nunes has hold of Ravese's hands but Ravese slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Nunes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ravese breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nunes with a nice cross. Ravese rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nunes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice sprawl there from Nunes as Ravese shoots in. Ravese looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nunes stuffs the takedown attempt from Ravese. Ravese gets slowly back to his feet. Nunes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Nunes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nunes is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Ravese fails with a takedown attempt. Nunes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ravese wants to improve his position but Nunes is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ravese falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nunes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ravese is lucky that one didn't land flush. Nunes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gabriel Nunes dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

That sent Ravese stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nunes clinches up against the cage. Nunes manages to pull guard.
