Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sweetchuck (ranked 3250 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Lopez (ranked 3756 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carl Sweetchuck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez ducks under a wild hook from Sweetchuck.
Lopez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sweetchuck.
Sweetchuck closes the distance and clinches up with Lopez, looking for a takedown. Sweetchuck pushes Lopez against the cage but Lopez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Lopez's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Lopez slaps away a takedown attempt from Sweetchuck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lopez unleashes a big counter combination but Sweetchuck bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Sweetchuck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lopez stuffs the takedown attempt from Sweetchuck. Sweetchuck gets slowly back to his feet.
Lopez throws a right and a left that Sweetchuck avoids nicely.

Sweetchuck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sweetchuck looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lopez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sweetchuck has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lopez defend it? Sweetchuck steps over the head and cranks it - Lopez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sweetchuck!
