Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rosendo Bass (ranked 4655 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lowe (ranked 5135 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosendo Bass has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bass counters with a head kick. That will keep Lowe thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bass displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lowe throws out the jab.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lowe.
Lowe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bass manages to avoid it.

Lowe is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bass still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bass has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Bass is working for an americana but Lowe has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bass was thinking about the submission.

Lowe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bass tries to close the distance and clinch but Lowe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lowe feints and then cracks Bass's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bass down.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bass tries for a takedown but Lowe circles away easily

and Lowe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bass has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lowe after a bit of a struggle.
Bass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bass quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Bass shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lowe defends it nicely.

Bass is looking to counter the offense by Lowe and move into the clinch.

Lowe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bass's guard.

Lowe has Bass pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lowe pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bass tumbling to the mat - Lowe dives into Bass's guard.
Lowe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bass utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lowe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lowe wants to control from the top but Bass keeps moving.

Oh Bass is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lowe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bass's head.

Bass is working an open guard so Lowe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lowe drops Bass with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lowe follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
