The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Phouphommachack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rogers drives through and clinches with Phouphommachack against the cage.
Rogers pushes Phouphommachack back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Phouphommachack is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rogers softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Rogers prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rogers scores with a shot to the side of Phouphommachack's head.
Rogers gets through Phouphommachack's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Phouphommachack tries a knee to the head but Rogers blocks it.

Rogers lands a hook to the side of the head.
Phouphommachack stalling in the clinch but Rogers improves position.
Rogers lands a hook that snaps the head of Phouphommachack backwards.
Rogers lands with a left to the head.
Rogers lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Phouphommachack to his knees! Rogers keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
