Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aylin Shah (ranked 3451 p4p, 376 weight class) and Eli McDonell (ranked 3353 p4p, 369 weight class). McDonell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metal Gear Solid - Duel . Eli McDonell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aylin Shah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli McDonell! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Shah misses with a combination
and McDonell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from McDonell. Shah does a little dance to reset his feet. Shah misses with a double jab
and McDonell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shah is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McDonell throws a nice inside leg kick. McDonell circles away from the clinch attempt and McDonell counters with a stiff right hand. Shah misses the shot to the body. McDonell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shah has time to react. Shah punishes McDonell's body with a nice straight punch. McDonell scoring well with a low kick there.
Shah misses with a double jab
letting McDonell counter with a right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from McDonell finds it's way through Shah's defenses. Shah looks to score with a jab to the body but McDonell is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shah takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McDonell throws a solid leg kick but Shah takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McDonell. Shah wants to clinch up but McDonell keeps it at a distance. McDonell connects with a body shot. Shah digs a good body shot into McDonell's ribs. Shah misses with the combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! McDonell connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Shah's hands. McDonell lands with a shot to the body. McDonell scores with a shot to the body.
McDonell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shah had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. McDonell catches Shah with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! McDonell scores with a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Shah misses its intended target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shah throws a head kick but McDonell moves out of range.
McDonell looks like he wants to counter punch here. McDonell wants to slow Shah down by chopping away at his legs. Shah walks into a stiff left hand from McDonell. Shah misses with a double jab.
Shah on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDonell works the jab nicely. Shah swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McDonell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shah.
Eli McDonell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Shah ducks right into an uppercut from McDonell. McDonell moves away from the strike by Shah. Shah has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McDonell finds it's way round the side to connect with Shah's head. Shah with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McDonell to score with a decent uppercut. Shah misses with a double jab.
Shah jabs McDonell right on the nose. McDonell blinks but takes it well. Shah moves into the clinch. McDonell lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. McDonell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McDonell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McDonell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Shah with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McDonell to score with a decent uppercut. Shah loads up on a big right hand but McDonell slips the punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shah checks the leg kick. McDonell wants to land a leg kick but Shah is out of range. McDonell avoids the head kick by Shah.
Shah throws the left hand but McDonell avoids the punch easily. McDonell lands with a thumping leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as McDonell checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A jab from McDonell does it's job there. McDonell connects with a leg kick. Shah looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Shah has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McDonell. Shah chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McDonell can pounce on him.
Shah is trying hard to land a takedown here. McDonell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McDonell takes a swing at Shah's ribcage but misses. Shah is looking for a counter combo. Some bone on bone action there as Shah checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. McDonell throws a half hearted mid kick. Shah tries to grapple but his opponent circles and McDonell counters with a nice uppercut. McDonell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shah tries to close the distance and clinch up but McDonell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shah is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shah has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shah there as he acknowledges the shot. McDonell pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shah is out of range and McDonell settles back down. Shah scores with a jab. McDonell acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Shah shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McDonell as he avoids it easily. McDonell connects with a looping right hand.
McDonell feints and then cracks Shah's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shah down. McDonell stuffs the takedown attempt from Shah. Shah gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aylin Shah. That's going to take a lot out of him. McDonell scores with a decent looking hook. Shah's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McDonell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shah scrambles back to his feet. McDonell lands with an uppercut that bounces Shah off the cage and back into range. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. McDonell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shah's head backwards. Shah looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Shah is looking to clinch. Shah closes the distance and lands a one-two. McDonell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Shah is rocked! Shah fails in his attempt to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli McDonell dominated that round. That's time! Shah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McDonell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Decent striking displayed by McDonell there. Oh Shah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice jab there from McDonell. McDonell cracks Shah with a hook to the temple - Shah is on wobbly legs here! McDonell swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Shah falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McDonell wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eli McDonell! A very excited looking Eli McDonell rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
