Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keneth Bridges (ranked 24660 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makedo Myashi (ranked 3163 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Makedo Myashi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keneth Bridges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Makedo Myashi! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bridges closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bridges lands in his opponent's guard. Myashi manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bridges looks for a takedown but Myashi sprawls well. Myashi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bridges closes the distance and clinches. Myashi wants to take the fight to the mat but Bridges manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bridges tries to break the clinch but Myashi is controlling the position. Bridges stops a takedown attempt from Myashi.
Bridges has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bridges has had enough of the clinch but Myashi keeps him there for the moment. Bridges tries to circle away but Myashi has him pinned against the cage. Myashi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bridges is defending well. Keneth Bridges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Makedo Myashi. Myashi tries to land knees in the clinch but Bridges avoids the damage to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bridges is trying to force a seperation but Myashi has the dominant position. Myashi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bridges gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Myashi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bridges gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Myashi trying to land knees to the body.
Bridges is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Myashi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bridges.
Bridges pulls guard. Bridges tries to land a sweep but no joy. Myashi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Myashi moves into range and clinches up with Bridges. Bridges gets underhooks to prevent Myashi's takedown attempt.
Bridges tries to circle away but Myashi has him pinned against the cage. Myashi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bridges is looking for a sweep. Bridges manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Myashi is trying is best to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Myashi trying to control from the bottom.
Bridges is trying to control. Myashi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bridges thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Myashi's head. Myashi is trying to stand back up but Bridges is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Myashi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Myashi. Bridges in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Myashi has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bridges doesn't defend quickly enough and Myashi has managed to lock this one up! Can Bridges escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Myashi on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Makedo Myashi!
