Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kusal Perera (ranked 1011 p4p, 127 weight class) and Kalle Karlsson (ranked 1297 p4p, 164 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Karlsson's choice of entrance music: Carolus Rex - Sabaton. Kusal Perera could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kalle Karlsson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson looks to land a combination. Perera sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Kusal Perera has been cut.
Karlsson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A quick step to the side and Perera tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Karlsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Perera seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Perera walks into a left hand.
Karlsson cracks Perera with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Perera looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Karlsson finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karlsson misses with a wild body shot.
Karlsson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perera.
