Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James MacLaren (ranked 23230 p4p, 420 weight class) and Pradak Kingstar (ranked 4758 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James MacLaren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pradak Kingstar! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingstar avoids the head kick by MacLaren.
MacLaren moves into the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Kingstar.
Kingstar misses with a punch to the body.
Kingstar is leaning against MacLaren and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kingstar working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. MacLaren's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! MacLaren decides to pull guard. MacLaren has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacLaren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kingstar manages to get himself to full guard.
Kingstar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacLaren can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

MacLaren stays in close to Kingstar's body and controls the position. Kingstar is trying to keep MacLaren in close.
Kingstar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MacLaren defends well. MacLaren trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kingstar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. MacLaren stacks Kingstar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by MacLaren! Kingstar tries to bench press MacLaren off him but MacLaren keeps the position. MacLaren working the ground and pound. Kingstar struggling a bit here. MacLaren creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kingstar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. MacLaren controls the position from side control. MacLaren wants to stand but Kingstar has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacLaren in side control, throwing shots but Kingstar defends. Kingstar is not content to let MacLaren control the position. MacLaren decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kingstar to his feet. A lazy left from Kingstar finds it's target. Kingstar jabs at MacLaren's body. Kingstar avoids the body shot from MacLaren.
MacLaren shoots in and drives through. Kingstar sprawls well. Kingstar keeps the fight on the outside. MacLaren walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Pradak Kingstar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. MacLaren is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingstar swats away the attempt to clinch by MacLaren. MacLaren takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kingstar lands with an overhand left. Kingstar lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Decent striking displayed by Kingstar there. Kingstar changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. MacLaren throws a leg kick but Kingstar sees it coming and checks it nicely. MacLaren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. MacLaren goes for a double leg but Kingstar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kingstar continues to drive forward. MacLaren shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kingstar is trying to defend but MacLaren finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kingstar regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pradak Kingstar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
MacLaren dives in and grabs Kingstar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kingstar pushes down on MacLaren's head and hops out. MacLaren is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kingstar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kingstar is clearly trying to counter these attacks from MacLaren with a body shot. Kingstar scores with a body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - MacLaren looks like he's thinking about clinching though. MacLaren throws a low kick, looking for Kingstar's leg but Kingstar calmly moves out of range. Nice uppercut there from Kingstar. Pradak Kingstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Kingstar. Kingstar swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by MacLaren. MacLaren fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James MacLaren. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingstar listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nice straight punches there by Kingstar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kingstar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingstar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kingstar lands with a good body shot. MacLaren gets the takedown into side control. Kingstar is trying to control MacLaren's posture but MacLaren avoids it. Kingstar looks to move to half guard but instead MacLaren has passed into mount! Damn! MacLaren controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingstar tries to get back to half guard but can't. MacLaren unloads with some shots from mount but Kingstar bucks and avoids them well.
MacLaren tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacLaren stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. MacLaren has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kingstar finds it's way round the side to connect with MacLaren's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! MacLaren throws a body kick that misses. Kingstar connects with a nice looking jab.
Kingstar scores with a jab. MacLaren acknowledges it with a nod of the head. MacLaren drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kingstar tries to buck MacLaren off but MacLaren is having none of it. Kingstar managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by MacLaren.
James MacLaren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee asks MacLaren politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. MacLaren prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingstar isn't going anywhere. MacLaren taking a breather here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kingstar can do anything to dispel that myth. MacLaren advances nicely into full mount. Kingstar is working to get back to half guard.
Kingstar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacLaren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. MacLaren has hold of Kingstar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kingstar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kingstar tries to lock up and control but MacLaren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kingstar is trying to reverse the position but instead MacLaren has taken his back - oops! Kingstar trying to control but not successfully. Kingstar is trying to break free.
What can Kingstar do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That was a close second round but I would say that James MacLaren will probably get the nod. That's time! MacLaren's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kingstar lands with a nice body punch. Kingstar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. MacLaren gets the takedown into side control. MacLaren is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kingstar will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. MacLaren is looking to take a break and control but Kingstar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kingstar prevents MacLaren from improving position. MacLaren wants to control but Kingstar is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. A control attempt from Kingstar but he's now mounted! Kingstar is squirming around, avoiding MacLaren's attempts to control the action. Kingstar wants to hold on but MacLaren pushes him away. MacLaren sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kingstar is looking to get to half guard. MacLaren is working for a guillotine from mount but Kingstar frees his head quite easily.

MacLaren tries to get the hooks in deep but Kingstar pushed the leg off. Kingstar wants to control his opponent's hands but MacLaren gets his hands free. A bit of a pause in the action here. MacLaren controlling the positon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacLaren working for the choke. Kingstar is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Kingstar just trying to survive but MacLaren is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kingstar is really stuck here.
MacLaren has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. MacLaren has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kingstar's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. MacLaren has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kingstar trying to control the hands but MacLaren won't let him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! James MacLaren showed his dominance in that final round. I think MacLaren has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
