The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wellwood moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Wellwood misses with a series of wild punches.

Skar scores with a takedown into Wellwood's guard.
Skar stopping the sweep attempt from Wellwood.
Wellwood is working hard here to advance position.
Skar wants to pass the guard but Wellwood is keeping the position.

Skar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Skar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Wellwood connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Wellwood drops Skar with a beautiful combination! Skar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wellwood is looking for the KO!

Skar is rocked!
Wellwood connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Skar tumbling to the canvas! Wellwood pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Skar was done - good stoppage!

After the fight, Kenneth Wellwood was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
