Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scruffy Bushrod (ranked 3444 p4p, 350 weight class) and Freddy Krueger (ranked 4672 p4p, 409 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scruffy Bushrod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Freddy Krueger!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bushrod lands a nice looking kick to the body. Krueger takes a step back to recover.
An inside leg kick lands from Bushrod.
Bushrod lands a head kick!

It looks like Freddy Krueger has been cut.
Bushrod with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bushrod scores with a leg kick.
Bushrod is looking to slow Krueger down with leg kicks.
Bushrod dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krueger. That did some damage!
Bushrod lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bushrod lands with a kick to the temple. Krueger shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bushrod slows down the pace here.
Bushrod lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Bushrod lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Our sources have told us that Bushrod has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Bushrod is pushing Krueger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Bushrod stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Bushrod works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Krueger jumps guard but Bushrod stands there with Krueger around his waist. Krueger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bushrod throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Krueger blocks it with crossed arms.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Krueger doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Krueger takes a shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bushrod scores with a knee to the head.
Bushrod stalls.
Bushrod will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Krueger up against the cage.
Bushrod manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Scruffy Bushrod.
Nice body kick there by Bushrod.
Bushrod swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bushrod throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice side step and Krueger releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Bushrod moves into the clinch.
Come on Bushrod - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Bushrod lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Krueger is rocked!
Bushrod lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Krueger is still on wobbly legs! Can Bushrod finish him?
Bushrod lands a knee to the head.
Bushrod jerks Krueger's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Krueger drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bushrod goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bushrod because Krueger was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
