The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sands listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A nice inside leg kick there by Sands. That's going to slow Crimson down. Sands looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A head kick misses from Crimson. Sands uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Crimson gets a clinch. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crimson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crimson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Crimson looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Crimson lands a big head kick that sends Sands tumbling to the mat! Crimson takes a step backwards and waves Sands back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sands is rocked! Carl Sands seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sands is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crimson. Sands is still on wobbly legs! Can Crimson finish him? Sands closes the distance and pushes Crimson back into the cage. Crimson misses with a body punch.
