Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Pettis (ranked 4813 p4p, 337 weight class) and Ginger Jesus (ranked 6729 p4p, 383 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergio Pettis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ginger Jesus! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Jesus. Pettis throws a sloppy head kick and Jesus moves out of range easily. Jesus scores with a body shot.

Pettis fails with the takedown enabling Jesus to counter with a crisp jab. Pettis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Pettis misses with a combination
and Jesus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Pettis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jesus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pettis wants to clinch up but Jesus keeps it at a distance. Pettis shoots for a double leg takedown but Jesus sprawls well. He's pushed Pettis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Pettis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jesus works Pettis's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesus walks into a jab. Pettis shoots in for a takedown but Jesus shows good takedown defense. A jab from Jesus finds it's way through Pettis's defenses. Sergio Pettis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pettis tries to clinch but Jesus moves away and Jesus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jesus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pettis shoots and misses letting Jesus counter with a right hand. Jesus takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jesus connects with a looping right hand.

and Jesus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jesus lands with a straight right. Pettis didn't see that one coming. Ginger Jesus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pettis with a lazy takedown attempt and Jesus counters with a left to the body. Pettis is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jesus punishes Pettis's body with a nice straight punch. Pettis throws an off balance right hand
and Jesus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jesus scores with a hook to the body. Pettis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jesus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jesus lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for Jesus. Pettis tries to clinch and Jesus counters with a stiff right hand. Pettis darts in looking for a takedown but Jesus gets double underhooks and turns Pettis into the cage. Jesus throws out a counter right but Pettis avoids it with no problem. Pettis tries for a takedown but Jesus circles away easily and Jesus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jesus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jesus connects with a body shot.

Pettis is rocked! Jesus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pettis on the side of the head. Oh Pettis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pettis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jesus connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jesus jabs Pettis to the body, keeping him at a distance. Pettis moves to clinch but Jesus breaks away and Jesus counters with a left to the body. Pettis seems to have got his legs back now. Jesus throws a good cross that connects.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pettis with a lazy takedown attempt and Jesus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jesus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jesus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pettis walks into a stiff left hand from Jesus. Nice uppercut there from Jesus. Pettis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jesus fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jesus throws a series of punches but Pettis avoids them all with ease. Jesus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jesus connects with a body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pettis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jesus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jesus is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pettis off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ginger Jesus dominated that round. That's time! Pettis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good shot there by Jesus. Pettis tries to clinch but Jesus moves away and Jesus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A punch lands to the side of Pettis 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jesus lands an overhand right. Pettis closes the distance but Jesus moves to the side and Pettis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jesus throws a shot to the body.
Pettis tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Jesus counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pettis wants to clinch letting Jesus counter with a right hand. Pettis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jesus appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Pettis throws a head kick but Jesus moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesus displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Pettis shoots and misses and Jesus counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jesus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pettis has time to react. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pettis. Jesus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jab by Jesus. Jesus cracks Pettis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Pettis looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Pettis fails with the takedown and Jesus counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Pettis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jesus smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Jesus. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pettis takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jesus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Sergio Pettis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pettis looks for a takedown but Jesus sprawls well. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jesus! But no joy. Pettis goes for a double leg but Jesus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jesus continues to drive forward. Pettis moves forwards but Jesus connects with a nice, crisp jab. A lazy left from Jesus finds it's target. Jesus lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

A head kick by Pettis misses and Jesus counters with a right hand to the body. Jesus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pettis tries to move into range but Jesus moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pettis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jesus throws a good cross that connects.
Jesus stuns Pettis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jesus cracks Pettis with a hook to the temple - Pettis is on wobbly legs here! Jesus swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Pettis falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jesus wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ginger Jesus! Ginger Jesus decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
