The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Rypalev.
Bjj jabs at Rypalev's body.
Rypalev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bjj throws out the jab.
Bjj looks to score with a jab to the body but Rypalev is just out of range.
Rypalev misses with a double jab
and Bjj counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bjj lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rypalev looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bjj stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rypalev has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Bjj manages to get his head free but now Rypalev has transitioned to an armbar! Bjj grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rypalev! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

A relieved looking Aleksey Rypalev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
