The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gross walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Belabed checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gross shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Belabed eats them both and turns towards Gross to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belabed is defended easily by Gross.
Belabed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gross pinned against the cage. Gross gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gross throws a series of punches but Belabed moves out of range.
Gross tries to bum rush Belabed with a series of wild strikes but Belabed uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Gross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Belabed has a takedown stuffed.

Belabed takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gross will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gross looks to land a body kick but Belabed moved away.
Belabed throws a right and a left that both miss.
Belabed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gross sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belabed somewhat.
Gross connects with a nice looking jab.
Belabed is rocked!

Gross goes for a small jab and connects. Now Gross goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Belabed stumbles back but Gross runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Belabed to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Belabed will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rob Gross!
Rob Gross very nearly forgot to thank One stop shop amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
