Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Delaney (ranked 24893 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orange Karaage (ranked 4728 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kent Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orange Karaage! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karaage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Delaney to the mat! Delaney manages to get full guard. Karaage landing some decent shots from guard. Delaney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Delaney doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delaney being controlled here, momentarily. Karaage wants to pass the guard but Delaney is keeping the position. Karaage not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delaney is trying to keep Karaage in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karaage is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Delaney is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Delaney has escaped and now he's on top! Delaney controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Delaney stands up over Karaage, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Karaage striking off his back but it's not causing Delaney any problems. Delaney trying to control the position from guard on top but Karaage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delaney stays in close to Karaage's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Karaage controls Delaney momentarily but Delaney frees himself. Delaney stopping the sweep attempt from Karaage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Karaage scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Karaage content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Karaage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Delaney keeps working. Karaage is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Delaney will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karaage is looking to take a break and control but Delaney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delaney gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Karaage stops Delaney from getting back to his feet.
Delaney is looking for a sweep. Karaage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Karaage takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Delaney missing with punches from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Karaage content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Karaage closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Delaney quickly recovers to half guard. Karaage trying to control the pace. Karaage is trying to control. Delaney wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karaage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orange Karaage dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Karaage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Karaage landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Still in half guard, Karaage seems content to control. Delaney wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karaage with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Karaage is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karaage content to control rather than advance. Delaney missing with punches from the bottom.
Karaage is keen to just control but Delaney is a slippery customer. Karaage sitting and controlling from the half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Karaage trying to control the action but Delaney is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Karaage drives through with a takedown into guard. Karaage content to stall in guard here. Delaney not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Karaage controls from within his opponent's guard. Delaney keeping moving, preventing Karaage from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Karaage working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Karaage must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Karaage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Delaney wants to get back to his feet but Karaage passes into half guard.
Delaney is looking for a sweep. Karaage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Karaage is taking a breather. Delaney says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Karaage seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Delaney does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Delaney has Karaage up against the cage in a clinch.
Delaney is trying to force a seperation but Karaage has the dominant position. Karaage jumps guard and drags Delaney to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Karaage throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karaage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Delaney doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Delaney manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orange Karaage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Delaney rushes Karaage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Karaage successfully pulls guard.
Delaney cracks Karaage with a solid left hand. Orange Karaage has got the better of the ground game so far. Karaage looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Delaney postures up in Karaage's guard and throws a big left but Karaage blocks it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karaage can do anything to dispel that myth. Delaney wants to stand but Karaage has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delaney is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Karaage wants to sweep but no luck. Karaage is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Delaney would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Karaage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delaney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karaage advances to half guard. Karaage with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karaage is looking for a kimura but Delaney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Karaage to get the leverage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Delaney wants to stand up but Karaage is controlling him. Karaage slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karaage wants to control from the top but Delaney keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that's the end of the fight! Orange Karaage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Karaage winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
