Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Aoki (ranked 3173 p4p, 353 weight class) and Turbo Epicity (ranked 2527 p4p, 305 weight class). Aoki comes into the arena with Baka Survivor blaring out of the sound system. Epicity has chosen Semi Charmed Life as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epicity misses with a low kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Epicity.
Aoki bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Epicity misses with a straight right.
Aoki Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Epicity uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aoki.
Epicity moves into range and connects with a jab.
Aoki throws a lazy uppercut
and Epicity counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Epicity really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aoki swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Epicity is now in Aoki's guard. A big mistake from Aoki there, giving up the dominant position!
Epicity wants to get up but he can't break Aoki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close round but I would say that Aoki Aoki will probably get the nod.

Epicity throws out a counter right but Aoki avoids it with no problem.

Epicity throws a fast counter high kick but Aoki manages to duck under it in time.
Aoki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Epicity has time to react.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Epicity does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Epicity walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Aoki is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Aoki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Epicity's half guard.

Aoki wants to free his trapped foot but Epicity is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Aoki is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Aoki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Aoki jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Turbo Epicity has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Epicity manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the ropes.
Epicity is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aoki Aoki.
Well Aoki has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Aoki Aoki really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Voodoo Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
