Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Salieri (ranked 1484 p4p, 174 weight class) and Elijah David (ranked 1477 p4p, 173 weight class). Salieri's entrance music is DMX - Ain’t No Sunshine. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Salieri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah David!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David looks to score with a jab to the body but Salieri is just out of range.
David steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Salieri.
A low kick from Salieri is predictable there
and David counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from David.
David throws a poor cross that misses
letting Salieri counter with a right hand.
Salieri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from David.
David throws a right hand that misses
and Salieri counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Salieri throws a lazy uppercut
and David makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David throws out a leg kick but Salieri moves out of range and David only half commits.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from David lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Salieri has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Salieri and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Salieri throws a big counter combination but David scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Antonio Salieri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
David throws a series of punches but Salieri moves out of range.
David tries to clinch
and Salieri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Salieri throws a predictable looking body shot
and David counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
David tries a head kick but it misses.
David's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Salieri connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! David scrambles back to his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by David. That's going to slow Salieri down.
Salieri lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
David throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A nice leg kick lands there from Salieri.
Salieri throws a left and a right that both miss
letting David counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
David ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salieri moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
David fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Salieri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Salieri closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nice jab there from Salieri.
David defending well as Salieri loads up on a big left hand.
David looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Salieri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and David counters with a two punch combo.
David takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A punch lands to the side of David 's head but he takes it in his stride.

David is rocked!
David looks up at the clock. Bad move! Salieri lands a right hand from hell, dropping David. Salieri pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio Salieri!
