Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terryn Dall (ranked 1159 p4p, 53 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 2346 p4p, 92 weight class). Crane has chosen Love Inc!-Broken Bones! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ichabod Crane!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Crane throws a right hand that misses
and Dall counters with an outside leg kick.

Dall is trying to get an arm triangle but Crane is defending well.

Dall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Crane, who protects the arm well.
Crane is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dall has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crane keeps working.
Dall lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Crane is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Dall seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Crane has recovered full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dall.
Dall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Crane tries to bum rush Dall with a series of wild strikes but Dall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Dall counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dall postures up in Crane's guard and throws a big left but Crane blocks it.

Crane does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Crane shoots for a takedown but Dall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Crane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Dall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Crane fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dall avoids it really well and circles away.
Dall thinks about countering with a body kick.

Crane walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dall.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dall drops down looking for a counter takedown but Crane sprawls and moves away.

Crane dives in and grabs Dall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dall pushes down on Crane's head and hops out.
Crane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Ichabod Crane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dall connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Crane momentarily.
Crane cracks Dall with an open hand slap.
Dall with a jab.
Ichabod Crane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dall slips a straight right by Crane.
Crane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dall tries to avoid it but Crane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dall to the ground. Dall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crane with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dall to score with a decent uppercut.
Crane drops his hands momentarily and Dall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Dall makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dall thuds a left hand into Crane's body.

Dall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well Dall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Terryn Dall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
