Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joao Freitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ai Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freitas comes to the cage accompanied by Ela sai de saia de bicicletinha. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joao Freitas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ai Kage! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freitas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kage throws a right hand that Freitas ducks under and follows up with a left that Freitas also avoids with ease. Freitas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kage counters with a takedown into side control. Kage connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Freitas some visible discomfort.
Freitas pushes Kage away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kage gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kage working the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freitas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kage asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kage working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Freitas wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kage thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kage has an Americana. Freitas didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kage is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kage hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ai Kage!
