Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 368 p4p, 51 weight class) and Scott Murley (ranked 324 p4p, 45 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Murley's choice of entrance music: Rage Against The Machine | Bulls On Parade. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Brent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Murley! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Murley misses. Brent moves away from the strike by Murley. Brent was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Murley misses with a looping left. A low kick from Murley is predictable there and Brent counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Scott Murley has been cut. Brent uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Murley. The fighters circling - Murley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brent looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Murley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like David Brent has been cut. Brent staying out of range there. Murley misses the body punch and Brent counters with a straight right hand. Brent takes a jab right on the kisser.
Murley misses with a looping right. A swing and a miss from Murley. As Murley looks to move away, Brent throws a big counter combo but Murley just gets out of the way. Murley throws a lazy right hand but Brent sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brent was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Murley throws a body shot but no joy. Murley throws out a loose jab but Brent uses good head movement to avoid it. Murley moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murley thuds a left hand into Brent's body. Murley cracks a nice hook into Brent's ribs. Murley misses with a body punch
and Brent counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice defenses there by Brent. The fighters circle momentarily. Brent darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Murley misses with a straight left. Brent ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Scott Murley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murley works Brent's body with a nice hook. Murley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brent. Murley throws a big shot that misses. Murley throws a body punch but Brent moves out of range. Murley throws a looping overhand right but Brent ducks down to avoid it. Brent looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Murley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brent moves away. Brent walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murley. A little feinted left hand from Brent on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Murley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Murley lands an overhand right. Murley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brent looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Murley throws a lazy body kick letting Brent counter with a right hand. Murley throws an overhand right that lands on Brent's shoulder, as Brent tries to avoid the shot. Murley tries to bum rush Brent with a series of wild strikes but Brent uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brent was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Murley throws a hook but Brent blocks it. A little feinted left hand from Brent on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Murley throws a shot from downtown. Brent moves away and avoids it. Brent swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Murley misses with a hook. Murley avoids the head kick by Brent.
Murley scores with a sloppy right hand. Brent should have avoided that one. Murley avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murley has a couple of punches blocked by Brent.
Brent breaks from the clinch.
Brent scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Brent lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Murley misses with a hook. Brent ducked under it nicely. Brent is looking to counter punch. A slow jab from Murley misses its intended target. Murley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brent manages to avoid it. Murley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Murley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Brent misses with an uppercut. Brent takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Murley misses with a looping right. Brent takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This has been an exciting period of action! Murley jabbing away but nothing is landing. Brent takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brent takes a body punch but keeps moving. Brent throws a head kick but Murley moves out of range.
Murley looks to score with a jab to the body but Brent is just out of range. Murley lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Murley connects with a nice looking jab.

and Brent counters with a lovely straight right hand! A big right from Murley misses. Brent is looking to counter punch. Brent is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Brent avoids the body shot from Murley.
Brent defending well as Murley loads up on a big left hand. Brent avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brent uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murley.
A decent looking cross lands there for Brent. Murley swings for the body but Brent moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Murley dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!

Brent moves out of range of the strikes. Murley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Murley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Murley is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Brent Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Murley is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). David Brent! A very excited looking David Brent rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
